Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding

Today I wanted to share with you the most perfect, delicious, and healthy snack! Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding. It is pure nutrition, so yummy, so simple, and totally school snack worthy! It literately is the easiest thing in the world to make! You mix all the ingredients together, put it in the refrigerator overnight, and ta-da...you have a superb Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding! These are the 4 simple ingredients you will need...

1. Milk (I used almond milk...you can use coconut milk, rice milk, or really any kind of milk you prefer)

2. Honey

3. Chia Seeds

4. Vanilla Extract

The great news is you can get your ingredients from any local grocery store.

Amounts:

Milk: 1 cup

Honey: 2-3 tbsp.

Chia Seeds: 4 tbsp.

Vanilla Extract: 1/4 tsp.

Method:

Pour the milk into a small masson jar and mix the chia seeds in. Add the honey next, and stir gently. Finally, pour the vanilla extract into the mixture and stir all ingredients together.

Place the pudding into the refrigerator and let sit for a half-hour. When the half-hour is up give the mixture a good stir.

Let the pudding sit in the refrigerator overnight so that the seeds soak up all the milk.

When you take the pudding out, it should be a jelly/chewy texture. After it is done add toppings galore! Your choice! Go crazy! You can add fruit, nuts, shredded coconut, granola, or even a couple chocolate chips for sheer pleasure! You can take this recipe and add anything you want to it! In the base, you can add cocoa powder to make it chocolate chia pudding, lemon zest and oil for lemon pudding, or green tea powder for green tea pudding! Have fun with it!
