I am so beyond excited that spring is finally here! Now I know that the first day of spring was officially on March 20, but it is still close enough for me to say HELLO SPRING! I am a total spring chica. I love everything that has to do with fresh flowers, soft breezes, little floral print dresses, as well as delicious greens and fruits. I thought that it would be fun to share with you some tips on how to make the most of your spring and soak up every lush moment of this perfect season!
Tip #1: Keep Things Simple
Simplicity can apply to everything in life. Your thoughts, your actions, even the clothing you wear and the makeup you put on. Anything you do can be simple. Don't get wound up in the stress of it all. Take a moment, breathe, and keep it simple. Life is a whole lot better when drama is far away.
Tip #2: Flowers Make Everything Better
I don't know about you, but I love, love, love, love flowers! I am enchanted with the way that they add color and life to everything and anything. Whether it is a huge bouquet of sunflowers, a single daisy, or a dress covered with a bright floral, you can never go wrong with flowers.
Tip #3: Eat All Of The Fresh Produce You Possibly Can
Greens, fruits, meats, preserves, cheeses, breads, ANYTHING that is fresh from the farmers market or your local grocers. Find it and eat it ALL! Try and buy fresh, in season produce that is healthy and delicious. This is the perfect time of year to stock up on leafy greens and sweet fruit because it's spring, and EVERYTHING is better in spring!
Tip #4: Open Up Yo' Windows
Think of it...A window in the corner filling the room with light. Soak up the sunshine by opening up your windows and letting in light and enjoying the cool spring breeze flooding your house. Don't neglect the perfect temperature of this season. Enjoy it. Turn off you air conditioning, open up those windows and let nature do its job.
Tip #5: Smile At The Little Things
Smile. Smiling is my favorite. Smile at the blue birds, the sun, the flowers, the sky, and even at that one person who might creep you out. Take the time to realize how blessed you are and just smile.
